WACAC Annual Spring Conference 2010 - Call for Proposals

_______
The Program Committee is looking for presentations and sessions of interest to the entire range of professionals at every level within our membership. The committee wants to present a balanced program between high school and post-secondary offerings. The program will not happen unless you take the initiative and submit a session proposal.

The deadline to submit a session is December 18th, 2009.

Guidelines for Proposals:

• Conference sessions will be 75 minutes in length.
• Pre-conference sessions are three hours in length so topics can be more in depth.
• If an exhibitor proposes a session, a not-for-profit member must be a co-presenter.

Counselor Competencies:

With the approval of NACAC’s PRO (Professional Recognition Opportunities), WACAC will continue to link our conference sessions to NACAC’s Counselor Competencies. The basic competencies are listed on the submissions form, and you can find more detailed information at the NACAC website (http://www.nacacnet.org). You must indicate on this form which competencies will be met by attending the session or workshop you are presenting.

2010 WACAC Session Proposal Form

The Program Committee will be meeting in very early January and will notify the Moderator regarding status of the proposal by the end of January.

For questions or to submit a session, please contact:
